Hello! My name is Theo.

Confession: I've abandoned so many blogs in my past.

For this to be worthwhile, I'm making myself accountable here and now. Maybe publishing this will help me keep on the straight and narrow.

My goal for this blog is to chronicle my personal journey in iOS App development.

On February 24, 2021, it will be 1 year to the date from when I started my iOS journey. I published my first iOS app to the App Store in June 2020 and landed my first iOS job in July 2020. I've learned a few things along the way that I hope will be helpful to others.

I'll share interesting tips or uses that I find in the Swift language, my personal approach to programming, and maybe some stories.

I won't repeat what other iOS blogs have already done. Hacking with Swift is my personal go-to for syntax questions, and it's a jewel. Ray Wenderlich has decent tutorials. There are dozens of great YouTube channels for tutorials. If anything, I will definitely references these awesome resources and maybe add my own little appendix.

Accountability moment: I commit to writing at least 100 entries before 2/24/2023 - my 3-year iOS anniversary.

My promise to you, the reader, is I'll never talk above my understanding of something. I practice what I preach, and I will only preach what I understand.

If something's not clear or something's inaccurate or you'd like to send a suggestion, Dear Reader, please let me know.

(else if) you like what you've read, let me know! I'd love to hear your feedback in a comment or a tweet.
